The Price of Quality
When the coffee market experiences volatility, we are continually asked about prices and quality. Over the years, it has become clear that even though prices fluctuate and market timing can sometimes be an ally, the real business we are in is not beating the 'C' but finding the very best coffees in the world for appreciative consumers. Whether the market is high or low, there is almost always a cheaper alternative available, "cheaper" is almost always a pejorative term and reflects the sacrifice of quality on the alter of cost.
